Project Managers (PMs) lead teams of six-eight Project Innovators (PIs) in weekly meetings while working directly with community partners, gaining experience from seasoned Directors of Operation, and ensuring projects are completed successfully. PMs also attend curated professional development (PD) events, such as a project management kickoff, ongoing networking opportunities, and an end-of-semester showcase.
Key responsibilities of PMs include:
Time Commitment: 3-4 hours per week on average, with heavier time commitment at the beginning and end of semester.

- working closely with representatives from partner agencies to design and adapt deliverables that are based in community-defined need;
- creating a scaled and scoped project plan that outlines deadlines and responsibilities of team members;
- scheduling and designing weekly team meetings in manner that meets key deadlines;
- maintaining ongoing and quick communication with the Directors of Operation;
- attending required all-DISI events (kickoff, PD, showcase) and most social (networking, celebratory) events.
